I'll start from the first system I built myself:

433MHz Celeron - 66MHz FSB
667MHz P3 - 133MHz FSB
1GHz TBird - 133MHz FSB
2GHz Athlon XP 2400+ - 266MHz FSB

The 2GHz was the best upgrade of all. I kept the same motherboard, memory, and video card. The only thing I replaced was the heatsink/fan combo. It is my current CPU.
