I bought the I4 model of Honda Accord instead of V6 almost entirely due to the fact that V6 didn't come with manual, price difference was only ~$3K. That's the only car I've owned.
I grew up in Europe where automatics were (and still largely are) rare, and all 4 cars my dad owned (2 of which I drove) were manuals. I like driving, and shifting manually adds another dimension to the experience for me.
That said, my next car will likely be automatic. I have a strong preference for manuals, but sadly they're getting extinct in North America at least for the cars I've been looking at: Audi A6 nothing, even S6 is auto only, BMW 4/5/6 series, I think only M have manuals, Cadillac CTS nothing, Mercedes C/CLA etc.
