It's a crossfire motherboard, but patching the NV drivers to run in SLI is simple and easy. You can even run the latest version. You must be joking right? Or do you have a MB that supports SLI?
This is a poll to see what CPU most people are currently running. I'm curious to see how many people are still happy using previous generation chips that Intel is trying to entice with their new Sandybridge processors. I have a feeling there is a HUGE base of early Core2 Duo/Quad folks out there just waiting for a GOOD reason to upgrade. Thanks in advance for participating!
I currently have a Core2 Duo E6750 that I am dying to upgrade.
I already know that this pc is on borrowed time because the random crashes is getting more common.
Well I have been looking to upgrade the system since the i series processors were released but with getting an apartment, a car, and paying back student loans put it on hold.
There is no option for Intel Core (1), Q6600 FTW!
WOW, $200? Damn, i might just wait for BF 2011, non-sb i7s might be cheap as hell.
Right now, if i up to sandy bridge, i'm looking at $500 bucks(which i don't have atm).
I can probably cut it down to $250 if i sell some of this stuff.
I have a c2q and the current expense to upgrade (cpu/mb/mem), does not seem worth it.
Expense? It's not expensive at all to upgrade
