Your Favorite Asian Cuisine

Right now I'm partial to Vietnamese and Thai, particularly soups like Pho and Tom Kha Goong. Sushi/sashimi/nigiri is great but it's getting old because I've had so much of it over the years. The same goes for Chinese (which I have eaten in China, not just the American versons). Korean is nice but I haven't eaten it enough to form a complete opinion at this point.

So what is your fave? Is there another Asian cuisine I haven't mentioned that's a must try?

Bibimbap is DELICIOUS. Try to find a good tofu/Korean joint near you.

we have a seriously delicious Pho place near work that is quite addictive.

other than that, it's definitely Korean.

I like kimbop. The thing I like about asian food is that a lot of them can be non-fatty and still taste good without resorting to a mixed salad or blanched veggies.

I don't know how authentic it is, but every Cantonese place I've been to has salt & pepper chicken wings. They can be really incredible.

So many favorites, hard to choose one:
vietnamese: pho, broken rice dish,etc
Thai: tom yam gong, red/green curry, pad thai, pad see ew, etc
Japanese: sushi/sashimi, shabu2, anything donburi, lunch/bento boxes, ramen, etc
Chinese: so many different varieties hard to mention one by one
Korean: bibimbab, bbq beef stuff, kimcijigae, etc

Vietnamese and Thai. Explosion of flavors. Korean would probably be next, then Chinese. Japanese food tend to be very bland. If you ever eat non sushi Japanese food, its pretty much seasoned with nothing. (My experience)

Don't really have a favorite, been having asian dishes almost daily since I bought this tho some of my favorites are the red cooked dishes. Braised mushrooms for vegies are good too. a lot of the recipes call for dried chinese mushrooms which are shiitake. luckily there ar 2 asian grocery stores within 30 minutes of me so it isn't too much trouble to keep stocked with what I need.

Korean. Love Korean BBQ especially pork belly and kalbi. Plus with any Korean cuisine you get the side dishes which can be a meal in itself.

I like oriental food especially the sushi where you dip in the soy sauce. It was a hazing thing with the frat but I secretly liked it
