Yeah that was cool. IIRC you could take the quake disk and play it in a regular CD player to listen to the main theme too.
Love these threads :awe:
Shame on you people that dont post a link to the fkin song though
All Battlefield and Command and Conquer soundtracks for me. Some of the tracks in CnC Generals and Zero Hour are play in some TV shows and movies.
Burnout Paradise

Hm. It's my favorite racing game, but the soundtrack was basically a small set of rotated songs.
The best was the title song which stayed enjoyable a long time but wasn't really great, and the others were a mix, some of which became 'not that again, skip'.
Some seemed not that great for the game and the list seemed pretty limited.
The Halo soundtracks win hands down for me. there is basically no real contest
next on the list would be Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger but they are in a distant 2nd and 3rd
Halo 1 and Reach are my favorites of the series. "Winter Contingency" might be the single track I like the most:

"Tip of the Spear" and "Exodus" are good, too, as is the main title theme of the series.
I do like Medal of Honor soundtrack too. Especially "Heroes Abroad" in the 2010 game.I've only played Battlefield 4, but I like the intro "Stutter" a lot, as well as a few of the other tracks. Love all the Command and Conquer soundtracks, too.
I'd bet you'll like Medal of Honor: Warfighter's soundtrack, it's fantastic. Never actually played the game - looking at the review score now, it's good I didn't - but I'm a fan of Ramin Djawadi (Prison Break, Iron Man, System Shock 2, Medal of Honor, Game of Thrones, and The Strain, to name a few other soundtracks he's responsible for or worked on with others) and Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park/Fort Minor). The intro starts with a Linkin Park track ("Castle of Glass") before proceeding to the score. I'm betting most Hans Zimmer and Bear McCreary fans will like it, too.
