Al has a cut called Mediterranean Sundance on the "Elegant Gypsy" album that is just phenomenal

If I had to pick, I would say David Gilmour's tone from the Pulse cd/video. But when I grab my guitar, I want to play with a tone similar to something from Vai or something more heavy metal. There's no such thing as a favorite tone, I want them all. All at once.
