But reallly, can you think of a better band to define the 90's and the first half of this decade? The Bends, OK Computer (with its countless #1 rankings in countdowns), and Kid A hangs with the best of these artists. Unfortunately, the song you hear the most is Creep- which is actually a very poor representation of them.

Anyways, I'm very surprised with Led Zeppelin beating the Beatles (who I was close to picking) here, I thought for sure it would be a near shut out.

They are amazing albums and truely peices of art...but they are no where near as popular as those other bands. Thats not saying they arnt as good..I think they are the best they just are no whear near as close as the beatles..and VERY VERY sadly to say U2..god I hate U2

No way in hell Radiohead defines the 90's....or the first half of this decade. In fact, they do not belong in that list as others have stated. Not even my favorite band, Oasis, deserves to be on that list. I say The Beatles but have respect and enjoy the other bands on the list.

OASIS? I like Oasis but they are in no way bigger of a band then Radiohead. Radiohead may not be main stream pop..and your arnt going to hear them on the radiohead like U2 and such but damn do they have power. Radiohead is known for what they do and are amazing...Oasis cannot compair. The only reason I think Radiohead doesnt fit with these bands is becuase they just simply arnt as poppy or old enough to recognized as such. Sure Beatlies is a must...U2 is poppy....Led Zepplin..is well..Led Zepplin, Pink floyd are old and very very well known...and the Rolling stones have been around so long I dont see how thye stand on stage!

If you're talking 90's then you have to go with one of Pearl Jam, Nirvana or Smashing Pumpkins. And if a band like Radiohead belongs on this list then someone like REM does too. They sold a heck of alot and were popular (critically and commercially) for a really long time. Radiohead doesn't belong on this list nor does any other recent band.

Early 90s is definitely not Radiohead. Now, I don't claim to be a Radiohead fan, so maybe there's a bit of bias here, but they definitely don't belong on the same list as those other bands. The early 90s was grunge and rap, so, much as I hate to say it since I dislike rap immensely, the artist from that era should be someone like Nirvana or whoever the main rap artist was. Metallica could even maybe fit into that span of years, with Justice being in what, '88, and the Black in '91?

Anyway, I voted Zeppelin. It was close between them and The Beatles and it's hard to choose between the two. I've been listening to a lot of Zep lately so I went with them.

U2 is sooooo overrated. Makes me cringe just to think of Bono singing.

Anyways, it's a toss up between LZ and PF.

Probably going with PF

Radiohead have power??? Please.....they're a bunch of pansies like coldplay. "Radiohead is known for what they do and are amazing"???? What do they do??? Have you seen them live?? Who has sold more albums in their careers? I never compared Oasis directly to Radiohead nor did I say they deserve to be on the list.

What makes you think the beatles, led zepplin, rolling stones, and u2 deserve to be on the list?? Have you heard their albums and really know their music?? Radiohead is pop.....trust me. Oasis is brit pop also.....they're no different than U2 being "pop"....

What makes Radiohead's albums so good?? Why do you believe they have "power"?? If you can elaborate and explain yourself....then that'd be great and I'll have some respect for you as a music fan.
