Forest Gump definately made me choke up in so many scenes, like when his mother dies and when he's talking to his dead wife Jenny.

And more recently the Patriot when Mel Gibson's smallest daughter went crying and running up to him and told him that she'd say anything to him as long as if he didn't go off and fight.

I bought it on DVD as soon as it came out. It chokes me up every time!

I've been told that Sophie's Choice would choke me up, but I'm kind of tender hearted to begin with, so I avoid tear jerkers in general.

Also, if you like movies about animals, Pharlap is a great movie about a racehorse, but also very sad.

'Life is Beautiful' ... truly, if you haven't seen it, rent it next time you're in the mood for that type of movie.

AWAKENINGS

is the only movie I have ever seen that made me get teary eyed. It's so sad...I HIGHLY recommend that you all rent it...it is with Robin Williams and he plays a serious part and he plays it quite well!

of course to add to the list...the strongest movie I have ever watched was SCHINDLER'S LIST. Probably because I had 20+ relatives murdered in the Holocaust.
