I agree with the first part of your post, but Lynx is for masochists who want to use a browser with hardly HTML 3.0 support

I only used Nutscrape on my wayy old computer that made Nutscrape 4 slow, IE 3,4 didn't work, so I was stuck with Nutscrape 3.4 Gold for a long time... even after IE5 came out...

Then I got my bum in gear and upgraded a few times with capable components.

I chose galeon, mostly because it runs the mozilla engine and it seems faster to me than mozilla at loading pages.
It also has some kick-ass features like really usefull toolbars with dictionary/rpm/freshmeat search features.

Konqueror would be great if it had flash support. For some reason, no matter what I do, it won't work in konq.

Flash works in Konqueror without any problems. Just install the Netscape plugin according to the instructions, then go to Settings ==> Configure Konqueror and choose "Netscape plugins". Make sure the location of that plugin is in the list and click "Scan for new plugins". All set !
