Your first car accident? How old were you?

Ugh, I read this said "never" and cursed myself. On the way home I came 1 foot from being hit by some moron who ignored a stop sign at a four way intersection. Thank god he noticed me, so still no accidents. After saying that, I am not driving anywhere tonight.

When I was like 23 or 24 my bumper touched the bumper of the car in front of me. I was trying to stop for a red light, and there was ice on the road. The collision occurred at less than 5mph (more like 1-2mph if that ...) Nobody had any damage, not even a scratch.

I flipped my dads brand new truck when I was 15. Not a pleasant experience!

First time I was in a car that was involved in an accident was when I was about 10 years old. Mom, younger brother and I were driving from CA to IL to visit our cousins. Somewhere along the way, dont remember exactly where but closer to IL, while traveling on the highway, a wheel came off of a car traveling in the opposite direction and hit my moms car ('89 Volvo station wagon, AKA THE TANK) head on, bumper, grill and headlights all smashed up and air bags went off. I was in the front playing my gameboy and I honestly didnt notice a damn thing, those older Volvos were solid!

The only other accident I have ever experienced was when I was driving my own car about two years ago. Drunk bitch ran a stop sign and t-boned my '96 Nissan 240sx. Hit me on the passenger side rear wheel, car totaled. Her insurance paid for everything and I ended up coming out ahead.

went through stop sign. A 1 ton truck parked right in front of it, so it blocked it. Got sued, also. Was gonna go to court, but they dropped charges when they found out woman was faking injury.

Zero, but far too many close calls due to a lot of driving in the San Gabriel Valley area.

In my mid 30's. Red Cross Wheels bus changed lanes in the middle of an intersection and I was sitting right beside him (I was slightly ahead of him but he said he didn't see me). The small metal step below the bus driver's window tore into my back passenger door (which shows how far my car was in front of the bus and he still didn't see me).

Only one so far.

This reminded me of a co-worker who just nearly totaled his car by hitting three deer (yes, three). He said this is the 6th time that either he or a member of his family have hit deer. Time to move, lol!

Sophmore in college...I was 19 or so at the time. I got hit when going left at an intersection at the tail end of a green and somebody sped thru the intersection in the oncoming lanes doing 50mph. Cars were totaled. RIP Grand Marquis.

Almost happened to me a few months back, except the light turned yellow already. I started my turn, but had to recover cause the guy, who was going pretty slow, just continued on.

I hit a beater in a parking lot at 16...like 3 weeks after getting my truck...the car was actually crappier then my truck which my sis thought was really funny

a month later I sideswiped my moms car...

been two years since anything else has happened

I've been in 2.65 accidents.

1. Girl rear ended my S-10 while I was yielded to traffic. Hurt her grand Cherokee pretty badly.
2. Rear ended a Ford Probe when he stopped suddenly and I couldn't react fast enough due to being drowsy while on Benadryl. I have never taken Benadryl since.
2.4 Backed in a guy in an older Mustang who pulled in behind me while I was backing up. Dented in his fender, no damage to my car.
2.65 Spun my car on the freeway while avoiding someone who merged in front of me going 40 mph slower than I was. Hit nothing, stalled the car. Restarted and kept going.

I've had two cars touch my rear bumper for no damage. One instance was avoidable (braked too suddenly), the other was not; I was waiting at a stop sign for traffic on a main road to cease so I could turn right (was stopped for a while) and somebody rolled into me from behind...
