Mine- a 1984 honda accord that was a hand-me-down. I had to keep a 5 gallon jug of water in the trunk because the radiator leaked, and the hinge on the right rear door rusted through so if you opened the door it would just fall off. Eventually the clutch gave out and we had to PAY someone to come tow it off our driveway at 166K miles.

Skoorb and I had a 1989 Honda Accord, 5 spd.

Unfortunately, every darn thing possible went wrong with it and we sold it. When we moved to the US, we had to get something fast and without credit, so we got a 1993 Nissan Sentra. 168K and going strong!

Our REAL car that we bought together while being married (I was in Canada when he bought the Sentra) is our Nissan Maxima. Now that thing rocks!

1983 Toyota Tercel hatchback

228K miles on it when I ran it into the ass end of a 1999 Taurus.

The radiator leaked before that, it really leaked afterwards.

1985 Isuzu I-Mark, 4 door, silver.

I loved that car, despite putting on 30k in 10 months it ran like a champ until I killed it.

Paid $1,800 cash for it back in 1992 I think.

1978 Chevy Nova. Foor door, light blue, straight-6, no A/C, vinyl bench seat (complete with so many rips and tears that you slice your leg open if you had shorts on.

It burned a quart of oil every few hundred miles or so. No radiator leaks though. I tried to kill that car...did Bo & Luke Duke-style jumps off the sides of on-ramps, ran over everything in the road that stood still long enough, etc. 2 tons of steel is hard to break.

Sadly, my parents could no longer afford the insurance on the car, and the car went away in 1985. I was crushed. Mike's "Mobile Motel" was gone.

I had a 1987 Plymouth Sundance with a factory sunroof. Got it in 1998 with only 70k miles. I loved that car. It was comfortable and the only trouble I ever had with it was a sensor going bad. Oh, and it failed inspection b/c the gas cap was leaky hehe.
It was only $1500.

Then some senior citizen ran me off the road into a telephone pole, and there went a reliable and inexpensive car.

As a matter of fact, when I test drove my Civic, one of the first things I noticed was the long travel of the clutch and the long throw of the shifter felt very much like the Sundance. I hated the shorter throw on my Escort.

'85 Ford Ranger. 5 speed 4 popper. No power steering. No power breaks. No radio. No AC.

Had 160k miles on it when we gave it to my Uncle for free. Same engine, same clutch. Had the carb rebuilt about 4 times though.

1966 Chevy Belair 4dr, 283ci V8, 2bbl, 2spd powerglide purchased in 1973 for $250.00 with 110K on it. Lasted a couple years till I could afford my '66 GTO. That thing cost me my license a couple times, so I switched back to big cruisers ever since...

A 1995 Olds Cutlass Cierra. It was the most "granny" looking car possible. Well, it was my grandmas. She gave it to me when i graduated. It was great when she drove it, but the second she gave it to me...everything went wrong. I traded it in for my rockin Jeep!

1964 Pontiac Catalina

It was sitting in the lot at my Dad's shop for several months because the old people that owned it didn't want to fix it. It needed a new timing chain & gears, and they didn't really need 2 cars anymore. Meanwhile, they had brought their other car in for an A/C recharge, and my Dad told them if they'd give him the title to the old Catalina, he'd do it for free.

He gave me the title in 1978 or so, and told me that was my car, but I had to buy the parts and fix it myself. I did, and it was a blast.

389 (edit cid, typo) V8 4 barrel, and it handled like you were driving on a waterbed. I could do burnouts for a block. It lasted 4 months before the tranny went out, so we junked it. Too bad though, I loved that car.

My second car was a 67 Mustang fastback. My Dad was crazy to give me a hot rod when I was 16, I should have killed my stupid young ass 10x over in that car!

2nd edit, better photo, this one is identical to my old one.
