Your gpu load temps in game?

Custom models are much preferred in this thread, my old 7850 msi tf3 refused to hit over 60cel on full load in BF3 with a 50% fanspeed enabled and my 770 with a fancurve won't hit pass 74cel with a speed of 65% enabled at 65cel.

Yours?If you feel like it share your case of choice and cooling set up and even water numbers are welcome

EVGA GTX 770 SC with ACX cooler, I've never seen it go above 65C in games. Usually hovers around 60C, and that is all stock. Boosts to 1215MHz every time too.

I have a Corsair 400r case, with a side fan that blows onto the 770. Also, my heat vent blows right onto the back of my computer, which is not ideal and I'm looking to move my case. But I'm surprised this doesn't really effect my temps.

I've managed to get my overvolted (1.187v) Asus 670 DCII down to 60c (fan 63%) in the Metro: Last Light benchmark. This is with a core of 1202MHz and memory @6978MHz

At one point it was reaching 75c, I added a side fan blowing cool air in which dropped a few degrees, then Re-pasted the GPU with MX4 for a whole degree lower. Asus' Tim application must have been pretty good in comparison to other GFX cards I've re-pasted.

My biggest drop came when I relocated my drive bays so that they were flush with the PSU along the bottom of my case, allowing the front fans to blow air in unhindered, directly in line with the GPU. This brought temps right down.

If I put my GPU fans to 100%, Furmark levels out to 64c.

At 1000/1250 I hit about 39C in game. At 1250/1450 1.3V I hit ~45C. That's with full-cover waterblocks. Can't remember off the top of my head what temps I was seeing with the reference coolers.

My cards hover around 69-74c. I set the fan so that every 1degree of to increases the fan speed 1%. My cooler master haf932 has a side fan but it only helps these cards a little. One card only fairs much better. They are sandwiched pretty closely on my mobo. Functionally it is fine though.

Sapphire 7950 OC (Original Model from initial release) running at 1100/1400 will hit around 63-65C at 100% load. This is with the fan at default settings.

But typically for gaming its mid 50's as I run with vsync on.

I have two Evga 780Ti Superclocked cards with the ACX cooler in SLI, and in BF4 the highest I have seen them get is 75C each, with the default fan profile. That is with the cards overclocked higher than the stock clock of 1006Mhz, and they are running at 1091Mhz core.

Nice temperatures for those, my FTW 670 i had at one point even with a full fan speed load came damn close to 80c sometimes.Stock clocks and plenty of case airflow honestly made little difference.

That 670 got me off the reference cards for good, this zotac 770 with its Amp! cooler is my first non reference high end card and can be kept under 70c but it requires a 75% fanspeed.

I believe the highest that my Gigabyte GTX 780 Ti OC got to was 72C. It normally sits around 69-70C when gaming. At idle, it's around 30C, but it can shoot up to around 40C if I have a video playing.

Although, I really don't have the best cooling setup for it. I used a 900D for water cooling, but when I went back to air, I didn't really have a great case. I tried the Corsair Carbide Air 540, and I absolutely hated that case. Such a poorly designed, cheap case. I also tried a Corsair Obsidian 550D that I was originally using as a gaming HTPC case. I really like the case, but it's too small. For example, you cannot use a 140mm fan at the side because it will hit the PSU. So, I'm using the 900D still, and it really lacks good air flow to the video card. I'm using two 140mm fans at the bottom, but without a shroud, I can't easily redirect the air upward. I'm probably going to buy a solid side panel for the case and cut some fan mount points into it

It depends on the card , cards that don't need or pull a lot of power don't need anything, but many that do might not have a heat sink but a plate that cools memory and VRM's .

Temps will vary a lot depending on setting like Vsync on/off but anyway , my 660ti PE/OC stock does about 68c in heavy loads FC3, BF4 w/o V sync on . OC'ed and with fan profile it doesn't go above 60c .

The Windforce coolers are beasts, I became a fan of it after having the GTX670 for a little over a year.

Plus it usually costs the same price as the reference cooler.

Reference GTX 670, Fan at auto setting, 86ºC max. Cooler Master elite 430 as chassis, non-high RPM fan at the MoBo height.

Fan noise appears in extended(more than one hour) gaming situations. If you easily lose the atention in the game because the VGA fan noise, you will be annoyed with it.

How on earth are those cards only at 45C during furmark? This makes no sense unless you have some massive water cooling setup that has a gigantic radiator.

No kidding. I had a sapphire vapor-x 7970Ghz, just one, and there was no way I could get within 30c of those numbers running furmark.

Yeah they do look nice.Bought my 770 before the prices dropped and at the time of buying $400 was the max i had and usually Zotac cards seem to have the cheapest prices so i got lucky just barely being able to afford this.

My 7850 being the card prior to this failed at the worst time, if it had failed 2 months later i would have been buying a $500 780 perhaps maybe even a Windforce model lol.
