And if you are talking about your cumulative GPA, you need to mention how many credit hours you've taken till now. Heck, almost everyone has a 4.0 GPA if they've only taken two semesters worth of freshman courses.

Heheheh, actually my two years of freshman classes got me a 2.2. Also, we're on quarter, not semester. Anyway, classes were developmental psych, trig, and world civ to 600. Easy quarter, only exactly full time. This quarter will be more interesting at exactly tiwce full time credit load. 8-(

I think people should be talking exclusively about college grades, since it's almost impossible to get below like... 3.5 in HS. I don't know, mine aren't posted until Friday.

Algebra 2: 99%
Physics: 94%
Spanish: 93%
World History: 94%
English: 84%
Computer Science: 97% (The teacher refuses to give anybody a grade higher than a 97% because he believes nobody is truly perfect and can score anything higher

For CS, I can post a picture of my exam...it doesn't have a single "X" on it, all check marks, and on the bottom of each page it says 16/16 points scored or whatever amount of points each page has) yet the grade on it is a 97%

*also in highschool

4.0
Object oriented programming in C++

I only took that one class this quarter. Since I had never done C++, I had to take it before I could start on my graduate level classes. I'm starting work on a masters in CS and planning to take 1 or 2 classes per quarter. All online at DePaul. Hopefully, the grad classes will be a little more challenging. I finished that class with like 430 points out of 400 possible due to extra credit on the assignments.

Since we are talking grades, I'll brag about my wife a bit. This is her third term in a row with a 4.0.
Fall term of last year, she was pregnant and sick and taking care of 3 children and got a 4.0.
Winter of last year, she gave birth a week before finals and still got a 4.0.
Fall of this term, she was taking care of 4 children and still managed a 4.0.
Good job sweetie.

After this quarter I'll have 212 quarter hours, 3.42 GPA, a result of 13 straight quarters of pushing myself in various directions, trying to be a math major when I had not proof-writing ability, struggling with laziness, bad study habits, depression, workaholism, etc. It's been a hard time for me, but I've enjoyed it. I know that I'm capable of a 4.0 in most any subject I try but I've allowed side issues to take time away from school - and now I'm alright with that.

The courses one would take for physics and applied mathematics and minors in computer science and education.
(the education ones are easy A's usually)
