Your grades?

For CS, I can post a picture of my exam...it doesn't have a single "X" on it, all check marks, and on the bottom of each page it says 16/16 points scored or whatever amount of points each page has) yet the grade on it is a 97%

*also in highschool

At the end of the year, take up the issue with the principal... unless he has a written grading policy, you deserve what you earned. If he has something where class participation is a portion of the grade, then that part is subjective.

Thats awesome, what did he improve his average to? I suck, mine went from a 95 to a 108 at the end of the year. I was doing really good in the middle of the semester though.......

He went from 130 to 152

from what i'm told, it doesn't count...he also had us label a friggin motherboard from circa 1996, on which i even labeled the SB/NB chipset and basically every little tiny thing; i was the only one who got everything, and the grade on the "worksheet" that he put was a 95...i asked him why 95, and he's like "Oh, congratulations on it; it was the highest grade...i asked him why a 95, and he said "oh, you it's the highest"...i tried explaining to him, that if he grades 95 out of 95, he has to put the percentage into the grading system....if the test was 30 points, is he going to give me a 30 for getting everything right? :roll:

he just said thats how he grades :roll:

Sounds like a teacher straight out of the 60s with a C being good work grading scale

Don't worry about it, just study more. My fabulous university carreer has seen such things as 13% on a midterm, 47% on a course (which I passed only because too many others had failed as well, forcing the prof to scale higher than usual) and failing 4 of my 7 midterms in a single semester.
