Yeah, Michelle Wie says she's a nerd. I absolutely don't get that. She's incredibly beautiful, sexy looking and a super athlete.5. "Cool" nerds - Since when is it cool to be a nerd? Anyone who says they're a nerd, is not a nerd. Real nerds don't know they're nerds.
Yeah, it really drives me nuts. It's like being in the middle of an intersection with 27 roads coming off of it and you don't know which direction you want to take.
Zombies and Vampires... Never understood why the lore for each is so variable...
Instagram... Isn't it the same as facebook just less?
F2P games... So many games aren't games anymore. They're second jobs.
24-7 sports coverage... I love sports, but the fact that it's given more importance than any other news disturbs me.
Mine used to be iPhones but because of how crappy Android has gotten after 4.2 and given that the Galaxy S6 will have no removable battery nor MicroSD card (not like SD's are useful without being able to manage storage, I sure miss being able to mount as mass storage.
Sheesh, just get a Nokia 520, I have a 64GB microSD in mine and can change the battery in under 10 seconds. I've seen it for $20.
Uh, facial jewelry bugs me, period, aside from ear rings. If it's in your nose or lips, ugh. I always figure that people who do those things have issues and/or are getting some buzz off of people's reactions.
I agree with all this stuff, but I don't get the toilet paper one. TP is one of mankind's greatest inventions.Pets

HASHTAGS! (caps)
Hmmm. can first person shooters count as a "fad"?
They're been around since Wolf 3D. That was more than 20 years ago.
I played a free version of Quake some that I downloaded around 20 years ago, haven't messed with them since.Hmmm. can first person shooters count as a "fad"?

I've never used a hashtag, in fact I'm not sure what they are. I hear about them on the news all the time, they say "hashtag #makeafussaboutXYZ" or something. I've thought about looking it up, how it works, I guess it's just a way of finding news/etc. about a subject on the net. Never used it. It seems like the epitome of jumping on bandwagons, i.e. trying to be trendy. Am I wrong/right?
Nothing wrong with yoga pants.
Women posting quote pictures on facebook.
"gluten-free" (not legitimate celiac sufferers, but everyone and their grandma is suddenly gluten sensitive)
and zombies were around 2000 years before wolf3d. what is your point?
it's a fad now because every video game company wants to be part of the FPS genre ever since halo 2 made fps mainstream on consoles. i'd say golden eye did it, but it was really the only one back then, and halo 2 put online FPS on the map for console gamers. and now cod has taken over that crown, along with an oversaturated FPS market.
Expanded earlobe rings or whatever you call them
