I was tired all day yesterday after the holiday. Plus i had to wake up early for work to make sure our research facilities weren't alarming and what not.

So I stayed up late watching some re-aired championship boxing.

Feel asleep at 3 am and woke up the next day at 6pm!!!!!! I slept for 15 hours straight!

I slept for three days once, only waking up for a few minutes every 12 or so hours but never coming fully to or getting out of bed.

Passed out around 3pm one day after starting to drink around 4AM (Wing Bowl)....slept till 7AM. Good 16 hour nap and still had one of the worst hangovers of my life.

I never had a hang over. Yet.

I'd imagine it would be worse after 16 hours on an empty stomach.

3am to 3pm is 12 hours + 3 hours = 15 hours. Did I do the math wrong as always?

something like that, you said 3am one day, then 6pm the next. but in actuality it was 3am and 6pm the same day.

Going to bed at night and waking up at night. Seems like your mind was erased and you're trying to remember everything from the day before.

I'm sure there is a scientific explanation but I'm too lazy to look it up right now.

IIRC you cannot make up sleep for a prolonged period of time.

When I had whooping cough in 7th grade I slept for about 22 hours each day for 7 days in a row. I was never awake for more than an hour straight as I only got up to use the bathroom or eat dinner. Of course, this was only possible after they put me on all kinds of medication, as the coughing generally kept me awake a lot before I was diagnosed. I missed 14 days of school and didn't take gym for the second half of the year.

Yeah I remember someone telling me about that. You can't make up sleep, but when your body is exhausted, how can you not sleep for a long period of time?

17 hours?

went to bed at midnight and woke up at 5 pm the next day... it was dark out and I was convinced that it was 5 am for a good 15-20 minutes

happened during my freshman year of college after a weekend bender.
