I have the 1GB PC3200 LLK but one stick died after a year and was never quite stable at 2-3-2-5-1T at DDR400 speeds. I'm about to RMA the stick that died, but just throwing this out there. I'll report back on the RMA process. Not thread-crapping, as a sample of one isn't significant.

well I was contemplating on doing this, but right now I only need 1gb since I dont do much gaming. I went with the gskill w/ samsung hz single stick pc4000 for 99 bucks that's pretty much garaunteed to do at least 275fsb. I still think the 2 gb kit for only 15x is the best bargain on the net right now. But I dont have the extra money to spend and have no need for 2gb now.

This is still a good deal, but I think it's hit or miss with the overclocking capabilities...some batches were tccd I think.

my mama didn't know i traded her a xp 2500+ for a 2600+ mobile barton . so i don't she would do this deal LOL

ps it wasn't wrong of me to do that either, she wanted the cheapest motherboard she could get, and that only runs the barton 2500+ at 1.46 gigahertz. so there. lol

Good price before the rebate, rebate makes the deal killer. I payed $160 after rebate for some OCZ that offers the same timings. For $131.80 I'm tempted to get a second kit. But I'm going to hold off, damn these hot deals.

Anyone even considering a RAM upgrade should get in on deals like this now. Lot's of RAM deals recently...and some of the tech sites are reporting that DDR RAM prices are on the rise.

Yep, it should be here tomorrow. I'm going to install all my old games (D3, FarCry, FEAR, etc.) and run some benches on my 7600GT, so I can full on bench the new card when it comes in.

I do video editing and video conversion (uncompressed avi to divx/xvid/mpeg2, etc.)
Also use Visual Studio 2005.

I have the LLK in the 512 X 2. Runs as advertised at SPD settings but could not get a lick of overclock until I lowered the CAS latency to 2.5. I think this RAM rates up there with OCZ and many others.
