Her - new 30k car (Lexus ES or Acura TL) or a used 45k car (used Jaguar or Volvo from Hertz maybe)
Used high end cars are so much better than new POS... Why would you get a new motor? It's not like an american motor where the block expands and effectively becomes useless... Worse case scenario you'd have to rebuild it...
I am not going to put the same engine in there, I will put in a VTEC one and a manual transmission (from automatic).
oh yeah, integra and corolla are "high end cars"....ROFLMAO !!!!!
good luck to whoever is driving an small car with no side airbags, especially an old rusty one with no modern safety equipment....anyway, I really doubt your blabbering about still driving it in 2010, it's more likely you'll get a new Hyundai or something...those budget shoppers nver change
[pwned]
Lexus is mentioned, but not Corolla as the next car.
Read much, you useless troll?

the guy is driving 10 year old econoboxes and day dreaming about 45k cars, it's just silly. Sure, by the time he gets his used jaguar I'll be driving my brand new Porsche

You're boasting about something you don't have. Shut up.

Indeed.
I'm driving a car that is worth less then my bike! My bike isn't even that expensive. Why? So I can invest the rest of my £££ now and build some decent insurance. I was quoted £5.5k ~ $8k for car insurance! Male, 4yrs license no accident, no speed, no NOTHING.
My £600 car gets me from A to B and drives fine. 5spd manual FTW! It feels pretty quick when I push it hard but I know it isn't that quick when other cars over take me
And anyway all of these things are just 'cars' at the end of the day.

ROFL you drive a GM, based on the passable, but flawed Epsilon platform. Cars sold on that platform are often mainstream value vehicles. Well done, you paid premium for medium. SAAB are about as cool as Satans nut bag.
SAAB 9-3 Aero
0 - 62 mph 6.4 Seconds < EDIT
Top Speed 146 mph
Slowest Lexus:
IS 250
Maximum Speed 144/230 (mph/kmh)
Acceleration 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) 8.1 sec
Wow, you beat the low end Lexus on paper and fail miserably in dynamics. Nice 'pwnage'.

it's not just about 0-60, it's about handling, braking, style and comfort. Or do you think that an evo is better than M3 ?
btw, speaking of straight line accelarion, the IS250 is a total joke, even a Mazda3 is faster (and handles way better too) [p/w/n]

Dude, Lexus will be here in 10 years. Saab probably won't. It's a joke nowadays and GM has just butchered the brand to the point of irrelevance.
9-3: mediocre at best. Shares it underwear with trashy G6s and Malibus. No wonder Saab is in the dumps
9-5: one of the oldest car platforms out there without a MAJOR update (save for maybe the Panther platform on the Crown Vic/Grand Marquis/Town Car)
9-2x: Scooby clone
9-7: rebadged Trailblazer/Envoy/Bravada/Rainier/Ascender
Not to mention that the Lexus has the Saab beat on build quality, interior quality, engine refinement, customer service, resale value...uhh, just about everything. Not to mention that that IS isn't a torque-steering pig FWD car.
And what's with this p/w/n bullisht?
