(Your opinion) -- best lookin' case?

I have only found a few decent looking cases, and the rest just look too childish (the one that looks like a robot just makes me laugh)

I LOVE the simplicity of this case: http://www.zipzoomfly.com/imag...age/large/141619_A.jpg

But there's just something off about it... I'd rather it be white, instead of aluminum/silver. I'd also rather it be 90° angles instead of that sudden 45° slant. I guess I'd like it to be 'sharper.'

Anyone know of a case similar to that?

IMO, the best lookin cases are the cooler master wave master, antec sonata, and the antec super lanboy.

I'm with you insolence, I've always loved the look of the Centurion 5.... but it's too bad the case is basically "low end".

look inside, it's like a generic case... pretty sad really, I would have bought the C5 but it's just too plain and crappy behind the front panel back. super nice looking indeed though.

I think I may go with the Praetorian, but I don't like the idea of 4x 80mm fans. I can only control 4 with my fan controller.

I may just go with 2 80mm case fans... is that wise?

You can run multiple fans on each channel of the controller. For example CH1:2xIntake, CH2:2xExhaust, Ch3:cpu...etc. Just get a splitter for each channel which you want to run multiple fans off of.

Your fan controller should list the maximum W/channel it can handle. Check the specs on the fans also, most 8cm fans only draw 1-2W and fan controllers are usually rated for 15-20W/channel.

I have this case,

I have the front 2 fans on 1 controller
cpu on 1
back on 1
top on 1
my psu has its own speed controller which is temp sensing as well
works great for me

remove the fan filters when you get the case= more airflow

I'm using some icute casing that looks a little worse than the imps in Doom3 Poor airflow as well, so I'm getting a TT Tsunami tomorrow BTW, how many fans does the TT tsunami come with? And if so, is there an option to add more fans?

Two 120mm, the version with the side window comes with an additional 92mm (on the window). I don't think you can add more fans. Beware though, the fans are *quite* noisy. :frown:

And to answer the topic, I like the Sonata, but at the same time I don't  I'd love it if there was a case that was a mix between the Tsunami and the Wave Master. i.e. the Wave Master with 120mm fans and drive rails

Hmm, If I'm going for more fans, I intend to put 3 on the side panel, 2 on the back, 1 on the top and 1 in the front. Is that possible?

why on earth would you do that? if you go the tsunami, you're not going to imporve the airflow much, if at all, by doing that. it has very good airflow/ventilation already.

I guess I'm one of the few that don't really care for the pratorian. mostly because I know a couple of people who bought them. the rear 80mm fan mounts rattled (and it was a pain to reduce that) the 80mm fans in the rear mount where hard to get the noise down. I love the way it looks from the outside, but to me it's otherwise useless functionality wise.

I like these personally, clean lines, quiet, roomy interior. only thing I'd like to see on these would be a side window, but that can be modded easy enough.
