What if your relative works in a bank? and you do banking there. If you buy stuff online like porn dvd at amazon or something, wouldnt your relative see it on your account?

Can bank workers see all the stuff that the people purchase?

When I call the customer service they can see all my account activities, so technically they can do it.

one of your customers? So you work in a bank? or your store customer works in a bank?

Thats good that the bank superior take customers privacy seriously...... but still i wouldnt bank in a bank that have relative works in it or someone i know of.

Wife is a banker for many years.

People with account access (tellers, bank managers, loan officers, customer service people, etc) can typically pull up any account they want any time they want. There are typically UID and time stamps associated with actions/changes made to accounts but from what I understand not always with viewing.

Looking at and/or working on a family member's account is forbidden at my wife's bank, as is servicing your own account. So my wife cannot service our accounts, which trust me, is fine, you would never want to do it even if it were allowed with as much scrutiny as the banking industry is under.

Keep in mind that only purchases you make electronically have anything associated with them. You can always pay in cash.

I could be wrong, but how could they possibly know you bought a porn dvd at Amazon? All they'd see is a charge to Amazon, or I guess a third-party seller...I guess if you bought from PORNDVDSTORE or something they'd know.

@Vic Vega, relatives are not family and nothing stops you from servicing their accounts, although you cannot pull up any account and start poking around, there are work around, you can get another member of your family call in pretending to be them, or they can ask their coworkers to do it, you pull up my relative and I will pull up yours, believe me, nosy relatives can do anything. However I do agree that that security and scrutiny is VERY tight and you can be caught very easily and fired even more easily.

Even then, most of those companies use discreet sounding names for what appears on the statement.

Banks / Credit cards do not receive an itemized list of what was bought, only the store name and total.

I should have said, bank policy prevents you from doing it (at least at my wife's bank) though you can physically do it in the system. She's told me about people getting canned for this, and for servicing their own accounts. Seems like a common sense thing to me!

my amazon orders on my bank account and credit card just show Amazon. It doesn't show what I actually ordered.

If I ordered something from PORNPORNPORN EMPORIUM, then I bet it would show up as that, but still wouldn't show that I ordered Big Tit Lesbian Cheerleaders 7.
