And even so, there is motion sickness in gaming along with the refresh rates of the pixels and frames not matching or being smooth enough from the video card source to the input lag (possible) to the display (HDTV or LCD monitor otherwise).

And it may not mesh or match well with some people's eyes. Not all the Oculus Rift devices can possibly solve this in dealing with visual motion.

That's the first time I have played a game in probably a year. I'll play time waster games on my phone but I never play real games. I just had the urge to fly a helicopter and I couldn't find all my BF1942 discs. I figured the $10 was worth it to fly a copter! NOPE. Went to sleep feeling like the room was spinning.

Its a combination of my bad eyes and the engines games use today. The HL2 engine isn't so bad but anything after that messes with me bad. But I never get motion sick....its weird.

Half Life 2 was the first FPS that I couldn't play due to nausea.
About 90% of games these days make nauseas. Some RPGs are OK.

Yea...Fallout 3 made me physically ill. Worse than anything ever before or since.

I felt real car-sickness the first few times I played Gran Turismo 5 on my PS3. I get a bit motion sick normally, so maybe this is a testament to how realistic GT5 is?

Good thing is it went away after a half hour or so, and I was able to play the crap out of that game. You can never drive enough laps around the Nurburgring!
