What are 7 years old? I'm not going to suggest gay stuff as well since I don't want to get a vacation for this.

Wait, are you drunk?
Did you get the part where he asked for the BEST movies?

I quite enjoyed Gods and Generals, too.

Is that even possible? That's the only movie I have ever walked out on.
Rotten Tomatoes -- lol, 8%.

You'd have to be a HUGE civil war fanatic that could absorb the props and sights from the era and at the same time somehow completely ignore the utter crap that the rest of the movie throws at you.

You seriously can't see the artistic and emotional depth Top Gun has to offer? I could write a 10 page essay on how the film relates to film theory (it's a shame we didn't watch it in the film theory class I had at school).

I hope you are just being sarcastic. If not, try some of These. Should be a hell lot better than the 2 you listed. And counting a movie 4 times still does not make it 4 movies!

Star Wars (the 1st one was mind-blowing at the time)

I need to see Heat again. We actually did watch that one in the film class I mentioned earlier.

Family Video here doesn't carry it though, last time I checked.

My Man Godfrey
Fight Club
What's eating Gilbert Grape

I guess the theme here is that I enjoy movies that teach you to break from the norm and do something different.

My top movies in random order:

* How The West Was Won - talk about an all star cast, story about how strong Americans were - not so whinny and pc like they do now - highly recommend

* Terminator 2 (1 is as almost as good but not 3) - excellent story and just enough special effect and good soundtrack

* LOTR all three- the middle was a bit weak- the whole 3 movies just so good overall (story,casting,acting,directing)- "You shall not pass"

* Scarface - one of the best action movie -"say hello to my little friend"

* I will reserve this space for later.
