Your Top 5 PC games of 2012

I only played 3 games long enough to form an opinion.

1. Hitman Absolution
2. Max Payne 3
3. Diablo 3

Also this was the year I officially got bored of FPS. Didn't even bother with CODBO2, MoH WF, FC3 or the umpteen other shooters on PC and 360.

I am surprised how many people mentioned FTL. I am still enjoying this game a lot!

I started playing Dota 2 in 2012, so I guess that would be my #1, since I have a ton of hours in it.

#2 Mark of the Ninja was fantastic

#3 Borderlands 2

#4 Skyrim

#5 Bulletstorm - Seriously for $5, this was just mindless, stupid fun.

I would have put Dark Souls in there, but I have played it a ton previously on the PS3 when it first came out. But if it was my first time playing it, it would easily be in that list.

By a mile CK2 is my favorite of 2012. And FTL was pretty great too. Only other 2012 game I played was endless space I think, but I stopped after just 6-7 hours (not quite sure why) and haven't gone back to it.

Don't know about top 5 since I didn't play many games in 2012, but Batman AC would be my top. I'll throw in COD:BO2 in there too.

but I still play L4D2 more then any other.. I so love games that reward that "dick" who runs ahead or doesn't help in a TEAM game with a lonely smoker/hunter/ death.

No one mentioned SS3, probably because it came out in 2011.
