Post your very first Video Card that you personally bought back in the day, no on-board graphics qualify.

My first card as an enthusiast was a Creative Labs Voodoo2 12MB 3D Blaster Banshee PCi . Cost me a fortune back then, but a months later they released the Riva TNT2 series which made my purchase worthless....

Here's my past and present video card list:

History:
Creative Labs Voodoo2 12MB 3D Blaster Banshee PCI
ATI Radeon 7000 64MB PCI
BFG Nvidia Geforce FX 5900 128MB AGP
EVGA Nvidia Geforce 7800 GT 256MB PCI-E
Sapphire Radeon X1950 XT 256MB PCI-E
EVGA Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTS 640MB PCI-E
EVGA Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTS 512MB PCI-E
Galaxy Nvidia Geforce 9800 GX2 1GB PCI-E

Currently: (Damn I've become a sort of fanATIc )
ASUS EAH 5870 1 GB PCI-E - Desktop 1
ASUS 4350 512MB PCI-E - Desktop 2
BFG Nvidia Geforce FX 5900 128MB AGP - Desktop 3 (old skool)
ATI Mobility HD 3200 512MB - Laptop

I think it was called a STB Velocity 128 4mb.
It was quickly replaced with the TNT 16 mb for Battlezone online.

MX440. Replaced with a paltry FX5200. Then 9600XT. Then X850 XT PE. Then 7900GS. Then 7900GTX. Then 8800GTS 320MB. Then 8800GT. Then 4870. Now 5870!

First card was an ATI Mach64. I think I still have it somewhere.
After that I had a Matrox Millennium G2 with a Creative Voodoo2 card in SLI. Glide was sweet in NFS2SE.

Swapped out the Ati Rage 128 that my P3-450 came with for a Geforce 2-MX . . . incredible improvement actually. Awesome framerates in UT99 and Voyager Elite Force =)

I think the 4 meg version $300 Diamond EDGE 3D, nvidia's first.

Bu that was not as bad as my first CD Rom drive.
$600 Sony Laser Library, which was an external 1x CD rom player.

A 12MB Diamond Voodoo2, and a Diamond V550 16MB TNT shortly afterwards. They replaced the ATI Rage Pro 8MB that came with my Compaq box, which ran Incoming fairly well but was actually slower than software rendering on a lot of other games.

I had a Creative Labs Voodoo 2 12mb... then went to a Hercules TNT2 Ultra. Traded around a little, ended up with a Savage 2000 chip. Man that thing sucked.

I did EXACTLY the same. Voodoo2 hooked up to I think a Trident 2D card.
Then bought the TNT when it came out.

Diamond Viper V770, 32MB AGP card. It was just pure heaven being able to play Monster Truck Madness 2 at 640 x 480 and 60fps with everything turned up. I miss those days.

The first I actually spec'd out was an Asus 9600XT 128MB VIVO - Oc'd from 500/600 to 530/650 using the included Smart Doctor software.

The included games bundle contained:
Valves entire back catalog
HL2
HL1
CS
CSS
& Gunmetal
Battle Engine Aquila
Along with a half dozen video utilities

My graphics history:

286 w VGA graphics
486 w SVGA
