I believe there are no gods, but if I did and was in your position, I would probably try to take some comfort from this poem by Mary Stevenson:

Footprints

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was
walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the
sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he
noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one
belonging to him, and the other to the Lord. When
the last scene of his life flashed before him, he

I am pretty much in the same situation as you are . Watched Office Space last night and this guy said "If you hang in there long enough, good thing CAN happen in this world", and that gave me a little hope & inspiration.

I don't know if you can count on God, the person that gives me the most heartacke and headacke puts God in her sentence every time. Guess in this world, you gotta relie on yourself, try your best to have good health and decent career so you can hang in there, even if you are by yourself, and eventaully good thing is gonna happen.
