I like K-Pop, but the only Korean group I actually ever followed/kept up with is 2NE1 (and f(x), to a lesser extent) so I'm out of date. K-Pop is pretty much indistinguishable from Western pop or global pop music in general, though, aside from the language, of course.

2NE1 disbanded (Bom became toxic after her drug charge and CL wanted a solo career in the US).

Their label replaced them with Blackpink, who have been popping out hits ever since. They're a pretty international group with one girl from America, one from Australia, one from Thailand, and one from Korea.
