YouTube videos not loading for me

I can search and navigate around but the video doesn't stream. Started happening about an hour or so ago. Anyone else experiencing this?

Restart browser? Alternately, download the video, and watch on vlc.

Yeah make sure flash is working, you might have clicked "always block" at some point when it pops up on top.

Though it seems Youtube changed their player recently, it's a transparant/blackish thicker bar at bottom, that player appears to be html5 and should work without flash.

Mines sometimes does that. It just gives me a giant exclamation mark. I turn off all instances of my browser and it goes again.

Stop using flash player. Youtube runs fine with HTML5 - and better too.

I use an addon in my browser to render YT vids in HTML5. I don't ever sign in or save cookies and cache so it's that way. HTML 5 was a blessing. No BS trouble thus far.

I've been getting a lot of "An error occurred. Please try again later." notices on vids lately. Ususally a refresh or two gets thing going.

Stop using flash player. Youtube runs fine with HTML5 - and better too.

How do you make it not use flash?
Until a few days ago it always used flash. Now on occasion i see it's using HTML5 but it's still mostly running flash for me.

What I've noticed is that 95% of videos run w/HTML5, some randomly say "flash required".

Uninstall Flash, then Youtube will select html5

Seriously. Get rid of that trash. As an intermediate step, FlashDisable is a nice addon for Firefox. It's a simple button on the browser you poke to turn Flash on and off. Enjoy safe crash-free browsing with it off. If you need it on; after complaining to the webmaster; you poke the button, and Flash is on.

Same I think they're finally transitioning fully to it, though for a while it was, then it went back to flash seems to be back and forth. I hate the look of the html5 player though, it's too bulky imo and the bar actually covers the video, while with the flash player the bar is a separate element. But guess I'll get used to it. For longer videos I tend to just play them full screen anyway.

Been having the same problem. I'm on my iPad, haven't tried on anything else.
