99% of reviews had ES samples of the chip from Intel, many customers reported low overclocks. Test the retail chip and not an ES sample(cherry picked).

FX 8350 is better than i5 3570k/4670k in multithreaded/multitasking if you did not know and if you play lets say Battlefield 3 and want to stream.

i5 3570k/4670k would lag since Battlefield 3 will use all of its core compared to FX 8350 that has 8 cores while Battlefield 3 can use up to 4 cores thus FX 8350 has 4 unused cores. So those 4 unused from FX 8350 will be used when streaming.

So no, Logan did not fail FX vs i5.

Simple logic and no, this is not "personal" attack as everyone wants to believe.

After they released that false FX-8350 video with results that couldn't be duplicated or supported by any other review on the planet and then stood behind that review they lost any credibility that they might of had. Their Xigmatek review was awful as well. Basically anything sent to them will get a great "review".

Then how you guys trust Toms Hardware reviews since they applauded Pentium 4 while Anand himself called it a uncompetitive garbage. Tel me, please.

PS: Nobody even tried to duplicate those results, FX 8350 beating i5 3570k in streaming is completely valid.

i7 3770k/4770k is better than FX 8350 while i5 3570k/4670k are not in streaming because as I wrote before:

i7 3770k/4770k has more multi-tasking muscle and has same amount of threads as FX 8350. i7 can do streaming a bit better even thought it could stumble upon a problem like an i5 when all cores are used by games that have multi-core support above 2 cores eg 4 or 6 like crysis 3.

Nobody's saying that AMD makes terrible products; I used to use AMD all of the time when I built PCs for people, and I think that for gamers who don't care about power consumption, the FX 83xx are pretty decent chips, and in highly threaded situations yes, is likely faster than the i7 4670k, albeit at a huge power + single threaded performance disadvantage.

IF you want to stream, then the FX is good. But not all benchmarks were done while streaming and there were lots of inconsistencies and stuff that doesn't make sense. His credibility is near zero in my eyes. Nuff said.

Um.... are we reading the same charts? I see 3770k overclocked at 4.8ghz idle = 115Watts load = 244Watts, FX8350 at 4.8ghz idle = 160Watts load = 364Watts... Isn't that 50% more power?

Which is old news, look at haswell at 4.7GHz it uses even less power and is even faster than the 3770k...
