retails for $400, $276 now. cheaper than the Z-680's. If i didnt have my Z-5300 i would get these. but im happy. so enjoy.

i have the z560's and i demo'd these babys at compusa today. Hits HARD! sound is awesome too. Woofer is also huuuuge! Its a 10inch i think. Seriously you will make the block shake with these, definatly worth the price. If it didnt have the z560s id be all other this

I am happy with my z560's too but if I had the money I would be all over these. They are the best you can buy with a Dolby Digital decoder and now has DTS 96/24 ? meaning it can decode 96KHz 24-Bit DTS Audio Streams. The Z680's didnt even have that!
That is a tremendous buy! Great find!

My ex Promedia 5.1 sounded awesome (too bad it blew up two times in 3 months!) - I returned it
Been using a Z560 since then. It's okay (for the price), sloppy bass - lack clarity on the high notes

should have waited and rmaed, yes that was a common issue with the promedia 5.1 series, but its gone now. they rmaed it with promedia ultra 5.1, good tech service!

blew up how? I have 5.1s, I have noticed the bass has been lacking...

I have moved, and I went from 4.1s to 5.1s as I upgraded my home theater to real speakers. The room I have my machine and speakers in now is very open (14x12 loft).

I still need to mount the speakers, right now they are all sitting on top of my desk in front of me. I sure miss dolby/3d audio... but for some reason these 5.1s can't get even near as loud as my 4.1s could...
