They are not small, they seems OK. Their web evaluations are not stellar either but they generally have a passing mark. One can always try with a small purchase and see if they follow through. They opened a second place of business in NJ

I had bad experience when I ordered a pc133 from them last year.
They have free fedex express, but it only took them 2 weeks to ship it out, and that's after I called in and tell them to cancel my order.

It's also pain in the ass to call in, line(s?) always busy. Put on hold for like 30+ mins with first 2 call, no respond.

I am wondering if that stick come in broken, how long would RMA going to take.

So my question is - right now I have some CL=2 256ddr stick in my dell. Would I be better off getting this 256ddr cl=2 stick, or saving a bit more and getting a 512ddr cl=2.5 stick?

I thought Crucial memory only had latency of 2.5 for ddr. So is this better memory then. ALso, i am getting $33 for the 256MB DDR w/ Mouse before shipping... maybe the price went down

EDIT: Wow, nevermind, $44.48 for the Jersey people That drop to $33 really makes this a good deal on memory, as long as we ignore the past.

Comes out to $50.08 shipped for NJ customers, according to my calculator. Make sure and go for the one w/ the free mouse, so that you get your 6% charged on the lower subtotal.

Although I could see these guys adding sales tax to the shipped amount, since they're obviously using it to recoup cost.

Micron means it has Micron chips, Crucial means it's built by Micron (Chips, PCB, etc.)

Not necessarly. Crucial is just a distributor for Micron. But they have Hynix and Samsung chips also.

Micron chips doesn't mean much if the pcb isn't a quality build. I have always had good experience in the past with any memory that has micron chips but I haven't always changed the latency to different settings when i build a system for me I want speed. for someone else I choose stability.
I bought my current processor from Z-Buy and besides it being a great price I wasn't charged calif. sales tax nor excessive shipping I beat the next closest site in price by 12 bux and I had the processor in 6 days. I've been happy with them so far.
For a long while it made no sense to buy anything but micron "brother and sis in law work for em and pricing was great" but I'll choose price over them if it's low enough " sis and bro are happy if i just buy anything with micron on it hehe"

You don't know which you will get. Micron chips are better for overclocking, than Samsung or Hynix.
Which in this deal, it doesn't really matter because you are buying MICRON RAM sticks. (which most likely to have Micron chipset in it

)
However, to answer your question, I think crucial is better. Because they have life-time warranty on their RAM.
