Sorry, this is an absolute, non-negotiable, no-exceptions policy now implemented at work (only applies to motherboards). I often do some work from home, so this computer must also abide by this rule. I bought all the parts necessary for my new build, but I can't friggin find a board that is not made in china.

I've heard Asrock doesn't make them in china, and Anandtech's own overview of the new boards show only one that is not made in china (supermicro C9Z390-CGW). The PGW model, is made in china, as confirmed by another review site with close-up pictures of the PCB. The CGW model may also be made in china, because the picture on anandtech's page (https://www.anandtech.com/show/13407/intel-z390-motherboard-overview-every-motherboard-analyzed/54) shows made in Taiwan, but could be a test model or something.

Anyone know of any manufacturer that does its final PCB assembly in Vietnam, Taiwan, or elsewhere?
Thanks!

Gigabyte used to produce some motherboards in Taiwan, but the article is from 2017, so I don't know if it's still current.

However, in the article they state Gigabyte was the last manufacturer of motherboards in Taiwan.

https://www.pcworld.com/article/319...de-inside-the-gigabyte-factory-in-taiwan.html

The rest as far as I am aware of are made in China, although I've seen a few posts about Super Micro being the lone exception. However, what I saw are just various user posts, and not an article.

My Asrock Z370 K6 Gaming board was made in Vietnam

Thank you!! Ya, and someone from the review site tweaktown also confirmed this to me. He said Asrock is the ONLY company with no manufacturing plants in China. For them, it's all Taiwan, Malaysia, and Vietnam.

Thanks everyone for their replies!

I emailed the manufacturers, and these are confirmed:

Gigabyte, indeed, does final manufacturing in Taiwan on at least their Aorus line of boards.

Supermicro, unfortunately only does sends out test/eval/prototyping in Taiwan, hence why many reviewed boards are made in Taiwan, but production boards are in China.

Asrock does final assembly for many of their boards in Vietnam. The Taichi line is done in Malaysia.

No word yet from Asus, MSI, or elsewhere.
