If the fan is like other ZALMAN's, the fan blows through the heatsink and toward the back exhast, not onto the ram.

Dude, the demo thingy is the size of your head. It blows onto everything.
i think he meant the real sized 9500 that was on the mobo
Who would buy the retail version? I want that demo version.
I could suspend that demo version from my ceiling and have a killer ceiling fan. Put some AS5 under the heatsink, w00t w00t!!!
Not...but I wonder how heavy the real thing will be.
Using Thermal Adhesive to stick it to the ceiling? Doesnt sound safe.
Id take it to football matches, Id be a real fan then!

Man I just hope that Zalman has learned to use the stock backplate instead of making us all go through the trouble of replacing it. I've actually had motherboards with backplates that just plain don't come off; I would hate it if I couldn't use this thing simply because of that.

My recently-installed CNPS7000B-AlCu didn't come with a special backplate, so I was able to mount it using the stock backplate without incident.
I may have to pick up one of the 9500s when I upgrade my proc to dual core. If the 498g weight is correct, it only weighs slightly more than the 7000B.

I bet you could attach the demo one to your car and have it work.
