Zalman CNPS 7000A-cu and K8V Deluxe?

Does anyone know if the the HSF above is compatible with this MoBo? The zalman Website's compatibility specs list this combo as "to be announced".

Hard to say.

Do you have that K8V mobo yet? If so, measure the clearances around the socket and compare with the Zalman site.

I would be very surprised if that new mobo would be built with not enough cooling clearance.

EDIT: Sounds like it does fit. Read this comment from a review: "There are some heatsinks available already, including the Zalman CNPS7000 that use their own custom mounting system"

Falcon NW sells that MoBo and HSF together, so I'm assuming they work together...but I just wanted to be sure. To answer your question, no, I don't have the board yet.
