zalman ZM17CU on radeon 9600 pro?

Has anyone tried to use just zalman ZM17CU on a radeon 9600 pro? will it be enough to cool or 9600 pro requires the ZM80-HP ones. I am trying to find the fastest video card i can use with my shuttle xpc without cutting a hole on the case to attach a zalman heatsink to make it quiet.
Any suggestion or help, please.

Use a VGA Silencer instead.
Great cooling, quiet, cheap, and it doesn't fill your case with heat like the Zalman does.
Exhausting extra heat through the pci slot is a definite bonus for xpc cases.

My XPC does not have the required PCI slot next to the AGP for the VGA Silencer.

Unfortunately both of those solutions are large and might not fit in any XPC even though the VGA Silencer has the best bet. If I were you tenchi I would get an XPC where the AGP slot is on the inside (you'll need the outer PCI slot for cooler spalce) and measure to make sure the VGA Silencer dimensions would fit inside. And if you do get one make sure to get the Revision. 3 as earlier models don't support the Radeon 9600 Pro.
