Oh man .. I appreciate the hell out of this game ... He is gonna take that hook line and sinker too. The game plan is so obvious and it is going to fly straight home anyway. Time to scramble what's left of the Donalds brains. *Nice*.
No. You don't get to claim what Democrats will or will not do without evidence. Until Democrats are given a full filibuster-proof supermajority for at least one full term, what you claim they will do or not do is just you projecting your bullshit onto them.Did you say somewhere before this you were not talking about ambulance costs but that M4A was the topic, that efforts to block a specific medical change in the law was your issue? There is a complete difference between arguing for a deeply thought out proposal to introduce greater efficiency into the system that a personal beef any one person may have against some aspect of the system about which they have a pet peeve. M4A has undergone the kind of team expert analysis I was accusing you of being personally incapable of making.
I would say that opposition to M4 A isn’t even conservative, it’s libertarian. It fucks with private insurances capacity to profit.
These issues go to the fact that we do not live in a democracy because the 1 percent or less control the vote. It is the Democratic process that is supposed to control where capitalist greed can be aimed. The current Democratic Party will not restore Democracy because it would require biting the hand that feeds them.
You are going to need a revolution, I think.
To be extra clear, I thought you were making a general case against injustices in the current medical system using ambulances as an example. My response was intended to take that example and indicate the extremely complex analysis it would take to fix owing to all the inherent problems with income vs expenditure. That requires an expert multidisciplinary approach that you or I would not be qualified to do as single individuals.
And she did it in heels too.I hope she had some Purell handy.
thank you all, my friends, for brilliant, concise, and very entertaining debate coverage.
I have only seen the snippets posted here and it worked for me. This thread delivered!
Don't you mean, his concepts of a policy? It's pretty simple. His stated policies are more in line with my beliefs than Harris.
I don't think you have anything to be concerned about as I don't see Trump winning the election.
I belly giggled...This is what came to my mind when Trump talked his concept of a plan.

Watch the whole thing. It's a master class in debate. It is simply amazing. She starts out a bit halting and you begin to worry... then she hits her stride... then she baits him into pure irrational rage.
What???I might make enough money that Trump would be better for me (it would probably be a wash). However my own financial self-interest--within reason of course--is just one of many factors.
I find almost every policy position of not just Trump but the Republicans abysmal.
Trump's policies from what he's said so far have been: mass deportation, rollback of environmental protections (he talks a lot about banning electric cars, wtf), and tariffs. But from his first term, he'll be bringing in unqualified carpetbagging toadies who have sucked up to him to ransack various depts, like Scott Pruitt and Ben Carson. He'll allow and support a nationwide abortion ban. There probably will be tax cuts for the ultra-rich and less regulation to please the ultra-rich corporation owners. And anyone can read project 2025, which is going to be at least attempted to put into place under their dupe Trump. Anyone saying otherwise is a liar, there are far too many connections between Trump and Vance to those people.
i guess that all appeals to some. Personally anyone who finds all this attractive, or who starts their terrified whining about "migrants", can suck rocks. Those I know in real life know to shut the fuck up with these attitudes around me, or they'll find themselves out of my life. Which has been the decision for some, including some family. Good riddance. Those I can't avoid thankfully keep their gobs shut and we do our work/music/etc without discussing it. I think I'm past the point of "let's all get along". No, how about lets not.
Holy fuck I did not know that.Fun fact about ALF - the series ends with him being taken away, likely to be vivisected. No joke. In the first episode the government says it wants to capture him to cut him open and experiment on him. Then in the last episode they...well...capture him.
Combined with the Dinosaurs finale some of these old shows were dark.
So why never, ever any consequences for him???To me the most telling is the casinos. Contrary to common knowledge on the subject while he did basically bankrupt himself buying a bunch of casinos. He then started a publicly traded casino company, had that company use investor money to buy Trump's massive debts off him, then had the casinos buy stuff from his other businesses as part of their normal operations.
Basically in short the one and only time this guy has run a company with public money he scammed the investors and drove it into bankruptcy. So, it's not just that he's bad at business, although he is, he's also a thief.
I remember being and elementary school kid watching it thinking "Holy crap, that's messed up and hilarious!"memory lapse. Was an ice age caused by environmental neglect... the world ended basically. The news program signed off and it was done.
Changing Nature
I still use "not the mama!" regularly. God I loved that show.I remember being and elementary school kid watching it thinking "Holy crap, that's messed up and hilarious!"
Replace woman with, "a black." However, say it in Trump's voice. Blllllack.Meaning she didn't collapse like Biden as some hoped she would.
Now the bigger question does it move the needle?
Honest answer: maybe.. Trump is a known quantity so people are comfortable with him vs a woman who they don't know. She's gotta make people comfortable enough to vote for her (a woman).
At the end of the series they realize they've caused irreversible climate change and it basically ends showing them waiting to freeze to death in their home. I rewatched the series on disney+ somewhat recently, still a good series imo, although disney randomly pulled a few for some reason.Holy fuck I did not know that.
Btw, what did happen to Dinosaurs in the finale? I loved that show.
It was 3 against 1. Trump vs Harris/truth/factsSomehow a couple of our more rural neighbors in the commonwealth found a way to reply to the LttE section of a msm rag.
Presidential debate moderators were disrespectful to Trump. It was 3 against 1.
Letter to the EditorLouisville Courier Journal
I thought David Muir and the lady interviewed them [ Linsey Davis ] was very disrespectful to Trump. You could will tell they were on Harris' side. I was very bothered by them. This should be addressed.

Kucking Fentucky…
How about you articulate which of his policies are more in line with your views. It's pretty simple. His stated policies are more in line with my beliefs than Harris.
I don't think you have anything to be concerned about as I don't see Trump winning the election.
It's a bit telling they complain that Harris comes across as unauthentic, when she was sharing a stage with one of the most prolific, yet awful liars to grace the world stage. For example, many of these people are not undecided. They have decided they won’t ever vote Democrat, several appear to plan on throwing their vote away on a write in candidate. That’s a weak position in my opinion. Just buck up and vote democrat it’s the only choice today. Many of these are never democrat voters. We shouldn’t be calling them undecided.
No, it was 4 against 1. Trump vs. Harris/truth/facts/and himself.It was 3 against 1. Trump vs Harris/truth/facts
It's easier to understand if you stop thinking of it as a trick, and just realize his supporters just agree with him. They want suffering (of someone else), they want less people (of those who don't look like them), they want more of what everyone else has. They're envious, sad little balls of hatred, each and every one.So why never, ever any consequences for him???
How did he ever discover the Anti-Life equation that humanity has been searching for for an eternity. It boggles my mind that he was able to use this on over half of the country. Maybe even the world.
