Do Europe 3ds XLs work with American games? Or are they region locked? I was holding off until there was a 3ds XL like this and of course they don't release it to America

Well dang. I've been holding on a 3DS for a year now because I missed that sweet Mario Kart & 3DS package last year (was on the fence and waited too long), but for this one I'll pay full price.

That would be the other suggestion I had. I did not realize that they region locked them for EU and US, that sucks. I figured you would be able to ship to your house as people buy blu rays all the time from there over at blu-ray.com forums.

I have the Zelda OoT 3DS, but I would love an XL.

I'm not too torn up about it, though... I've never been much for flashy special edition consoles. A nice, basic, plain black unit works nicely for me.

You don't have the holographic Majora's Mask gold cart?

And all of the original Legend of Zelda 1 and 2 carts were gold, unless you got the rerelease at the end of the NES life.

I do have the holographic, I just grabbed the first image I saw on google - forgot the non special edition was gold too. But yea, corner busted off it by stupid brother still works though.

And I didn't imply otherwise about NES. Though we bought it right at release

I'd expect an official reveal on or after 10/22 since that's 30 days to the 11/22 release.

But official for EU and AUS and a Gamestop ad showing the US box art with the NA rating symbol = good as done.
