But there is something more that must be said. A Link Between Worlds does something that so many have wanted. It brings back a nonlinear approach to the series. You are given the option to rent items ( or later buy the items) instead of finding them in dungeons ( which can still be done) but there is also a risk. If you die while holding rented items then you lose them which can create problems if in a dungeon but that just adds to the challenge.
They pretty much said they have 4 but can't find them.
Exdeath - tell me your thoughts on the game? I remember you were reserved regarding the item swap thing.
Also, pics of that sexy 3DS XL
I just read this...interesting:
So basically you can play it either way...open world or dungeon order. I also read there's a Hero mode and that besides an optional hint system the game does not hold your hand...
I'm more and more excited. I might have to scrap ESO this weekend and play this instead lol.
Well I left. They said they'd call me but not holding my breath. I'll just keep my BB pre order, $20 isn't worth it.
If youre the first one they need to be looking for the discreet brown unopened retail case, not the pretty art covered individual units lol.
Even with tax I saved like $40 over Newegg, which wasn't even close to charging or shipping yet. Cancelled Newegg preorder as soon as I had the units in hand .
Wish Amazon didn't tax AZ, would have been another $48 because they would have price matched Walmart @ 199.96 and free shipping . Oh well.

Made sure mine had zero flaws, no dead pixels, no non uniform backlight bleed, etc before I committed to this being my main 3DS unit now before downloading my free Oracle game. Bought the physical game at Gamestop along with SM3DW practically free due to finally cashing in some rewards points. Gamestop had download code for Seasons as a preorder bonus and Best Buy had Ages. No big deal really since they are both $5 on the e shop and aren't exclusive.
lol. there are probably some good 2 player games for 3DS, who knows. The reviews did say the 3DS XL is a bit pixelated. I still think the DSLite is the best handheld with the DSi a close second. Battery life is important to me.
A link to the past was the best zelda. I actually hated TOOT (transition to 3D), until after I beat Ganon and thought about it - came to the conclusion that it was an awesome game, lol.
I really feel like I went through it killing all the skulltulas, hating the game. It was only when I looked back upon it that I could tell how awesome it was. Kind of like relationships....(sorry just broke up with my g/f, LOL).
Anyway the reviews for this zelda are great, nostalgic, this game is going to rock. I am going to force myself to play it tonight. Just too much to play right now.
I am considering picking up a DSLite again for Chrono Trigger, any Final Fantasy 2/3 remake, and the mario and luigi RPG series - those games were a lot of fun IIRC.
