Some 7800X3D observations after tweaking:
1) There is an additional (small) memory latency vs non X3D parts at same timings as measured by AIDA64 latency. Maybe around 3ns vs my 7700X. Obviously gaming performance is still significantly better...
2) FCLK 2200 failed to POST. FCLK 2100+ achievable on all 3 of my 7000 series chips so far.
3) vSOC is too dang high under mobo defaults. Using modified Buildzoid timings at DDR5-6000 I'm currently running a vSOC of 1.14V and seeing if I can go lower... I've seen as low as 1.1V on
the Ryzen 7000 DDR5 OC chart
4) Individual cores boost to at least 5000MHz under light loads, max 5050MHz

I think the high idle power draw noticed in some configurations on AM5 is a result of putting too much voltage into vSOC. As you can see my idle power draw is significantly less than seen in many places online despite having a monitoring app (and browser window) open:

tl;dr see if you can lower your vSOC. It seems to require very little vSOC to handle DDR5-6000 speeds, even with tweaked subtimings.
