Well it has dual fans and Asus says 28W. It could be a bit lower than that in that specific setting, but i dont believe it when its plugged in. 7840U has 13000 something at 32.5W short burst and 28W sustained in Thinkpad T14 G4 according to Notebookcheck.Should be noted this is a very thin laptop with what I suspect may be a quiet fan profile (I will look in the bios in a minute). This laptop is Macbook Air thin.

Actually what you want is something like Dr. Cutress' 3DPM v1 with its cache thrashing. It constantly dumps the pipeline. It loves SMT.So if you wanted to purpose build an app to exaggerate the uplift of Zen5 over the competition, maybe branchy code could do that. While still being net slower than a comparable optimized program.

I think they would have advanced UI based BIOS only in their TUF or ROG line.I wish the Bios was better, it's very basic. No fan profiles or anything, even in advanced mode.

Ok. Didn't know that. I know from Acer that Fn+f is power/Fan profiles and in BIOS you can't do anything. Correction: ASUS IceCool Fan techso 28W shouldn't be a problem with 2 Fans.
Can you open HwInfo or something during a run? For power draw.15339 performance mode! With it plugged in. Fans were louder but not terrible by any means.
