I claim this person is a ... clown.
While I see that his mind may be a little bit out of ordinary, as we are wise and tolerant people, we know that is no reason to call this person names.

He as a consumer HAS EVERY RIGHT to dislike the fact a half of the product he bought is worse than the other half. Especially if he tunes and overclocks CPUs.

Other than that he seems to like the CPU.

So what is YOUR problem to use that words that I deleted in your post?

All this guy does is run his mouth. He calls out larger youtubers to chase clout regularly. He is extremely narrow minded, arrogant, and derisive. It's his brand. He's no stranger to name calling other youtubers. He is the literal definition of an assclown. The thumbnails alone are clear evidence of that. The description is apt and I won't apologize for it.

This is old news. The CCD imbalance has been well established since the first dual CCD Ryzen 3900X was released in July 2019. The fact that he just figured this out is kind of hilarious.

I feel bad for anyone who bought Raptor Lake for any reason.
I think I should start some fund me campaign to get money for my Raptors, because now people feel sorry for me...

OK, and if you own a dual CCD AMD CPU, would not you be happier if it had TWO good dies in it, instead of just one? Or if you had an option to buy a CPU with two good dies, in case you needed or wanted it?

X870 is struggling with PCIe, somehow 😄
Looked at Asus specs for their motherboards and wanted to wrap my head around the wiring, made a diagram. Insane. Not PLX-era insanity, but still. Dunno if Tri-way PCIe dumb switches exist, but they do exist on my interpretation.

GPU 1GPU 2NVMe 2NVMe 3in total
Option 1x1600016 lanes
Option 2x8x80016 lanes
Option 3x8x40x416 lanes
Option 4x80x4x416 lanes

4 options are supported. First time I'm seeing this: Dividing 16 lanes between 2 PCIe slots and 2 NVMe slots. Maybe I've missed some earlier boards though

One nice thing about ITX boards - you can't mess it up because the board is too small to mess up anything! /s

Well, it's similar to preferred cores. If the vendor was not allowed to do this, you would likely just end up with both dies clocked to the lower level out of the two, not the higher one.

Personally if there is anything to hate about the CPUs, it's the disadvantages inflicted by the chiplet design. It would be so much better if it was made as monolithic die. But then it would cost more and would launch later, so too bad, gotta accept that some things aren't going to be perfect in practical life.

outubers. He is the liter
Stuff like this dont make it any better

Probably picks up a bunch of 6400-7200 kits at Microcenter, slaps a few new profiles on it, 10$ heatsinks and sells it for 4x the price

And he tries to get people on discord/youtube to pay for his "private overclocking 1 to 1 sessions"...
He cant tune for $hi* on the AMD platform, and when he get called out on it, he refuse to show any information/stability/performance numbers because he know he would getting laughed at 🤷‍♀️

The only really problematic part I see is the "no warranty" policy, are you even allowed to sell anything in Canada without warranty, when selling stuff is your business?

BTW we are off topic.

That doesn't make much sense from a common usage point, since 2nd ccd is most of the time in idle or at light load.
Also, I don't think the yield of higher leakage CCDs is good enough for using it as the 2nd chiplet in DT parts.

It was good enough for start-of-the-sales 7950x3d to have both top-notch chiplets, but then the penny-pinching-mode of AMD kicked in and the one I've bought in March or April 2023 (2311 i think or 2312, don't remember exactly) already had CCD1 that reliably reboots due to overboost if the fmax is set above 5750.

Bwahahaha

I wish some respected outlet would do a review of these, comparing to some off the shelf kits in both performance and value. Factoring in warranty and all.

Legal issues notwithstanding I could understand no warranty, but not even a week to return a kit that won't post at all ?!?

Even used HW resellers are better where i come from, at least giving a "will run" guarantee

Can anyone with W11 actually test the performance difference in Gear5 benchmark? I've only got extra 8% with the spectrum/meltdown mitigations off in W10. This benchmark is very finicky though, initially i was geting around 200 fps (like HW Unboxed), but after i've fiddled with settings (literally setting one thing (i.e. texture quality) to one value and then reverting it back) the FPS jumped to the properly high values, so maybe their meteoric performance improvement was caused by something like this
