Why run it on an ECC stick, assuming that's what you have? They fix the errors themselves.

Its a new system and relatively new memory. Its a good way to make sure the memory is good, even for ECC. Remember, ECC isn't a panacea / doesn't magically fix all memory problems. It's also a decent test for a new CPU/mobo.

FYI - Just popped a single 96 GB DDR5-6400 DIMM in my H13SSL-NT Turin system and it came up at 6000 as expected. Currently running MemTest86 on it.
