RANT!!!!!
Their main policy is "if anything goes wrong" we give you half ur money back. WHY HALF

I wouldn't be so angry if they were to offer a full refund, but noooooo

I ordered 2 pairs of glasses. Didn't get either of them.. That site is completely unreliable. My breathren makin a foo outta me for trusting them..

The savings are great, but even at 50 dollars a pair, would you risk it?

Long story short Zennioptical likely wrote the wrong address on the packages.

So USPS delivered them, but to wrong addresses..
Turns out USPS cannot track where they've delivered the package
(Yea, i was like WTF.. OMGWTF.. really) what if you delivered anthrax to a terrorist.

Good thing I have great credit and the CC lady got my money back.

I am so angry I could kill a cute small animal and not feel bad about it.

I ordered from them before without problems. rage is now 50/50

I have as well.. last year.. This year not so lucky

Basically their policy is ,, if anything FUCKS up.. you're out 50%

So they wouldn't give you a refund, even if it was their fault. they just give you 50% off your next purchase.. which is rediculous.

BAD POLICY FTL

I have used them once without problem.

count your luck,, and Stop while ur ahead.

The glasses are shipped all the way from china, then hits their sorting facility in CA.. It seems like that is the extra step that's easily messed up.

I ordered from them before, they are OK. But lens quality went down since they got started. I see distortions on peripheral vision on exact same frame with exact same prescription that I didn't see before.

Awww, only half back? Half is more than the credibility you seem to have on the forums.

We've ordered 6 or 7 pairs without any problems. Every pair has been awesome. Although, a pair of prescription tinted sunglasses that my wife ordered felt just a little bit flimsy. But, they were $8 glasses. $8 for a pair of prescription sunglasses... the lenses were perfect, the frames felt cheap. Incredible for that price. In fact, I think I'll order a couple of new pairs of glasses from them tonight. I seem to have misplaced my own sunglasses & with spending a lot of time out in the sunshine with snow on the ground, they're pretty nice to have.

Credibility.. so what.. i just made my own orders disappear and out of imaginary spite, posted this rant..

Credibility has nothing to do with this.. :\

Now the refraction fluid that my friend ordered will go to waste..

You may think that 8 dollars is cheap.. but they actually make a pretty good margin even on that.. It's just that american consumers have gotten used to lense crafters screwing their asses over the years,, that this somewhat "lesser evil" seems like the place to go.

I was just on their sire trying to order but I can't figure out my "PD". Card from doc says 35. They say it's too small.

Since PD is pupil distance, generally measured in millimeters, yeah, that's wayyyy too small. (1 inch = exactly 25.4mm) So, 35 is less than an inch and a half.

Here's a technique to measure the distance yourself. Stick a ruler sideways next to your head (make sure the ruler on on the same plane as your eyes.) Take your picture while focusing on a point in the distance. Use the photo to measure the distance. You have a scale in the photo for accuracy. Enlarge/shrink the photo on your screen so that 3" on the ruler on the photo = 3" on a ruler against the screen. Then, measure the distance between your pupils in millimeters.

You add the 2 PDs, so it's 69.5

PD is supposed to mean pupilary distance. Its the distance between your two pupils. That should only be one number.
I can only assume the numbers there mean distance from each pupil to the middle of your nose. But I have never seen anyone do it like that before, and I've been wearing glasses since I was 8.
Weird.

Do you know what the ADD1.50 is after each eye?

Your eyes suffer from 1.50 Attention Deficit Disorder?

:hmm:

http://ezinearticles.com/?Eyeglasses-Prescription-Explained&id=1555788

Add: A value written in this section of your prescription can indicate the need for separate close work glasses. An example would be computer or reading glasses. The eyeglass prescription written above has +1.50 to be added on to the distance prescription to give the reading prescription.

Yes, it's to middle of your nose for each eye. My eye doctor wrote it like that last year and I asked her, since I never saw that before either.
