There's tons of math that involves summation to infinity... and if you ever take a math class when they get done going over it they won't add in oh it's equal to, but it never actually is...

Yes, his argument was that the real world was ridiculous because of things like something reaching it's destination even though it has to cross an infinite number of half way points. He was basically arguing that there's no way .9 bar could equal one and if it does the world must therefore all be an illusion.

Doing a little reading on wikipedia... and yes I still maintain he's an idiot. Apparently he believed that all motion is an illusion. Let's see if he agrees with that when observing the motion of my foot swinging up in a vector intersecting with his testicles.

Given a 1 stage head start, Achilles will never reach the tortoise. I don't see how that is possible in the real world.
