Zero coverage on Pitts. crash???

This's too weird, no one is reporting the "fourth" plane in all this.

Thats because it crashed into the ground and not into a political and economical important building. The plane was apparently trying to mess up one of the US's underground command centers, but apparently it missed.

Yea, all kinds of rumors going around. From it simply crashed (maybe pilot crashed it) to it was shot down. No confirmations on anything however. Just speculation. But it is weird that noone knows anything substantive.

Plus you need to allow time for government and media to arrive at the scene, asses what's happen then start airing footage.

I did see some footage briefly on CNN earlier today, some small town in PA. If the pilot purposely crashed the plane then he is without a doubt a hero and saved thousands of innocent Americans in LA.

Where the plane crashed, to the left was a huge field of corn. To the right was the foothills of the Allegheny (SP?) mountains.

The local news covered it pretty well. Noone outside the plane was hurt and it didn't exactly have the same dramatic impact as WTC collapsing, so it's understandable.

I heard an eye witness on TV say that it came down as a relativly shallow angle.
This is not a proven fact though.
This could mean the pilot was trying to land the plane without people being killed.
But I would think if he had been that desperate it would have been at a much steeper angle.

its not as big a deal as the 3 others since it didn't actually hit anything. But its strange that they said it was going west and they said it was headed for the white house or the capital building in D.C., almost as if they shot it down on accident and just had to say something for it.

Even if true, why would they cover it up? I'm sure given the circumstances the population would understand their decision...

Actually, it WAS going west to start with , but supposedly around pittsburgh, it turned around and started heading in the general direction of Washington DC...

I agree. The military probably shot it down. However, if they didn't....the pilot could have ditched. I mean, why the heck not? I'd rather die saving lives than giving a plane to cowardly madman. Most pilots that I know would agree.

That plane is a huge key is discovering how this all went down on the planes, because it is the only one out of the four that they will be able to easily locate the black boxes.

Where this plane would have gone had it not crashed is pure specutlation.... If I had to speculate I would say the White House.

That may have caused less damage than you might think. The reactor containment buildings on most nukes are built for enormous pressures inside and aircraft impacting on the outside.
