I have had NO problems with ZZF, Newegg, or Monarchcomputer. I like them equally well and will take the lowest price from any of them....

I wont use Newegg cause I have to pay tax since I live in NJ.

The kicker is, my friend ordered something from them and got charged tax only to find out it shipped from CA. So he paid tax and had to wait 4 days to get it!!

Zipzoomfly has failed me on customer service issues on several occasions, with no positive CS experiences to offset this.

Newegg and Chiefvalue have both come through on CS issues whenever I have needed to contact them.

Monarch is untested, with several orders being fulfilled satisfactorily.

I avoid ZZF now. A company should not be successful on price alone; a moderate amount of customer service is essential.

ZZF is good with that free 2nd day
Would prefer newegg cheap and I get it in 2-3 days

I have not tested ZZF, 2nd must be really fast since newegg's saver takes 2-3

Same here. It sucks. And what is messed up is that most of the stuff still ships from CA.

ZZF is nice with the free 2 day...but only if they ship it quickly. It sucks to wait 2 or 3 days for them to ship it. Although, about half my orders ship within one day from them...

Newegg states on their webpages for LCDS that their dead pixel policy is no returns unless 8 or more dead pixels.....

You said a mouthful Perry !!! I have spent thousands of dollars with NewEgg since late 2000 and they USED to offer BOTH low prices and SPEEDY shipping AND great after-the-sale service. They weren't such a BIG outfit then.

Now that they've gotten too big for their britches they have upped their prices (although their shipping is still quick).

They also play games with their prices. I am building a new system so I have a lot of items in my NewEgg wishlist. They had several items tagged as "end of month specials" that (when May rolled around) were either no higher in price or just slightly higher ($3.xx shipping instead of "free", for example). At least one item on my wish list the price stayed the SAME - it wasn't a "end of month special" at all.

With all this said I am still a Newegg customer.

Some here have convinced me to give ZipZoomFly or Monarch a try and I will probably give Monarch a try this week.

I haven't heard of ChiefValue before. I will go give them a look.

Thanks,

Greg

I got a Shuttle ST20G5 and an A64 3000 for $32 less than newegg or zzf would have cost with shipping.

Mwave's rating over here at resellerratings.com is only a little better than average with a six month overall rating of 7.73 out of 10.

I think I'll pass !

Also notice over here at resellerratings.com that mwave's customer service is only rated at 5 out of 10 ... NOT good !

With over 2058 lifetime ratings buy.com's six-month rating over here at resellerratings.com is only an abysmal 3.40 out of 10.

Why don't more people take advantage of this EXCELLENT site that's only gotten more informative in the 6 or so years I've used them.

Resellerratings.com REMEMBER THAT !!!!

Only trying to be helpful !

I've noticed that too Praise... and MOST of the rebates are those infamous MIR (mail-in rebates) - in many cases you don't ever get the rebate or you have to call, call, call and eventually (3 months later) you FINALLY get the rebate....

MIR Suck !!!

That's the main reason I don't shop at buy.com again.

Here is the number of complaints on them

BBB file

Just go over here to resellerratings.com and it tells the SAME story !!!
