Newegg always ships immediately in my experience.
I just ordered RAM for ZZF on Saturday, and they did not ship until Tuesday.
Newegg would have shipped Monday.
I still got a good deal, though.

I am ordering from ChiefValue. I used to order from Newegg exclusively but like others here, I found ChiefValue has better values on most of the things I purchase and the free shipping help.

For instance, my recent order of the logitech eltie keyboard costs $24 + $6.99 shipping at newegg, costs me $21.99 and free shipping at chiefvalue. The CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB costs $83.55 at newegg and $82 at chiefvalue.

The shipping time is the same to me because I am in CA. I usually get my orders within 2 days.

Eh, when I ordered that mb + cpu + heatsink a couple weeks ago I also ordered a vid card from newegg because ZZF didn't carry it. Place both orders late Sunday night, and paid the rush fee at newegg so it would go out Monday. Neither order shipped until Tuesday and newegg refunded the rush fee. Newegg shipped from NJ, ZZF from Cali. Both got to me in Indiana on Thursday.

Hit or miss w/ same day shipping from Newegg in my recent experiences.. Order I placed on Sunday January 2 did go out on Monday January 3.. and I didn't pay the rush fee on that one. Go figure.

The one area that newegg is lacking in is their HDD selection. While they have a lot of drives, most of them are OEM, and highpriced compared to competition.

http://www.Mwave.com is better than both and if youre in southern california, you can drive over to the place (which is directly next door to newegg) and pick up your order.

I got a Shuttle ST20G5 and an A64 3000 for $32 less than newegg or zzf would have cost with shipping.

I shop around at the egg and then if possible order from Staples. Igram Micro carries cpus, mobos, hard drives, dvd burners, etc. If you know how you can really save with Staples' coupons and a PM thrown on top. I got an MSI K8N Neo Plat for $80 from Staples after selling some FAR software on ebay and using a coupon.

That's the main reason I don't shop at buy.com again.

Here is the number of complaints on them

I bought stuff from ZZZ in the past and they're kind of slow in shipping the stuff out. But if it's gonna save me money I can wait.
Thanks for listing couple more sites that I never even heard of. I gotta check them all out.

"threads of this nature belong in OT in case you havnt noticed" (???What is OT???)
would you care show me how to move it to the OT . I didn't think it was gonna be this big of a deal. Sorry if I offended anyone.

Newegg if I want a cheaper price and don't mind waiting a few extra days. ZZF if I need the stuff asap.

I just use PCMag's comparative shopping search if I know what I want and want to find the best price (It even calculates shipping costs). For my new system I'm building this summer, about 1/2 are from Newegg and 1/2 are from ZipZoomFly

ZZF has HORRIBLE Customer service in my experience with them. When I contacted them about an issue they could care a less and made it pretty clear they didn't care if I made a purchase with them or not. I'll NEVER do any business with them again. Newegg on the other hand has NEVER wronged me. I've bought thousands of $$ of things from them and while they may not be the absolute cheapest I know I have there good customer service if I need it.

Not to knock on PC Mag or anything, but their comparative shopping engine is just a cobrand landing for Shopping.com. It's not the most accurate thing in the world as far as merchant prices go, and some of the merchants they recommend are nothing aside from the highest bidder. ....But anyways

Yeah, I realized that PCMag uses Shopping.com, they said so in the last issue of PCMag They also had a neat little price saver shopping guide article though.

Newegg has been pissing me off lately, they have taken at least three days to ship my last few orders. I ordered a motherboard last week and they still haven't shipped it, does paying the $4 extra really get it out quicker?
