I'd just break out my Ace TruFire MultiCombo with the optional RipZ attachment. It's mini-gun/flamethrower/grenade launcher with the Ripz chainsaw for close quarters. It even has a built in bottle opener and condom dispenser for the end of the world party.

Aluminum baseball bat, Shotgun with plenty of ammo, leather jacket and pants, combat boots, leather gloves, riot gear helmet. If in a group, have a couple with rifles for long range, but all should have all body parts covered and baseball bats to take the zombies out at close range. With a riot helmet and leather gear the zombies aren't going to be biting you that easily and will fall under the blows of your bat

well i haven't read any of the books on the subject yet, however, i would probably go someplace i'm familiar with. first the liquor store, then to menards for blunt objects and tools, then off to my parents lake house. lake house should have plenty of fresh water, fish, other un-undead creatures to eat.

what body armor? none would work.

a full set of armor like the knights had? not going to work. its slow and has weak points that the zombies can attack. not to mention it comes in parts.

kevler body armor? it leaves your arms and legs free. they will bite you and eat it.


and as for the chainsaw how you going to refill it? it would be great for an hour or two at best.

a katana? hmm maybe. you better go take leasons and learn how to use it.

If you want to commit suicide, a gun in the mouth is a much quicker and painless way to do it.

Cliffs for Zombie Survival

1. Organize before they rise!
2. They feel no fear, why should you?
3. Use your head: cut off theirs.
4. Blades don?t need reloading.
5. Ideal protection = tight clothes, short hair.
6. Get up the staircase, then destroy it.
7. Get out of the car, get onto the bike.
8. Keep moving, keep low, keep quiet, keep alert!
9. No place is safe, only safer.
10. The zombie may be gone, but the threat lives on.

Fighting them would be useless in my opinion. There would be just too many. Eventually they will starve to death. I'd rather leave the area, go someplace remote. I would get together all the non-zombies I can find, and attempt to gather non-perishable foods.
It also depends on the profession of the people who are with me. I mean, if I can find someone with some piloting experience, that could possibly be useful.
Weapon wise, I'll get what I can get. Definately guns. Blunt weapons like bats would be a must. Lightweight but effective.
Move during the day. Get in as many cars as possible until we get to our destination.
Zombies won't go too far out of their way in search for us I am sure. Starvation would wreck their bodies and they would begin to eat each other.


I'm more worried about an alien attack. The "We want your planet, so die." scenario.

I'd just want to take off. I'd run. Flight FTW. Probably somewhere cold, way up north where it is sparsely populated. I'd set traps for them, maybe hang out on some island in the middle of a lake and set some traps in the ice so they would all fall through and become zombie cubes. It would be good to have some sweet snowmobiles on hand for escape. damn gotta go

Hope of killing them all?
In time perhaps, with enough people. What percentage of the population is Zombie?
Why not let time take it's course and kill them for us? They may be zombie, but their bodies need energy, and without it they die. Correct?
Why throw survivors on the battlefield is it isn't necessary?

the cold has disadvantages also. Zombies do not feel cold. Also the cold slow's down the rate of decay. so you can have a frozens Zombie come back to "life" years later and destroy the area.

But zombies are brain dead. They don't think, they act. And they are slow. Animals know how to react around predators. Their only advantage is numbers. They come in slow waves, but huge waves.

I'll run like hell. New Orleans is the LAST place on earth I'd be if there were zombies...we have some of the largest above ground cemetaries (noone can be buried because of the water levels in the ground).

Personally, I would rather have a baseball bat than a sword. Zombie flesh is already rotting, so a good bash to the head can tear it off. If there are several close by, you can also do quick jabs to push them away, whereas stabbing them with a sword doesn't do sh!t.

I think a good team of 6-8 people in full leather and riot helmets, with bats will be able to form a good circle that can beat of any zombie attack. Guns should be reserved for desperate measures because the sound will draw more zombies.
