So far its the best card for the price if you need one NOW, otherwise its still 200 dollars OVER MSRP of what the card was, but its the CHEAPEST gaming acceptable entry level card you can get right now. This is how bad MSRP is now, this is straight vendor level pricing to amazon charring normal markup.

Once amazon has the cards they will most likely go up or get immediately sold out.
July 20-26th is the expected ship date.... knowing zotac it could be on any of these days.

IF you need a card, these are acceptable carry overs until the 4000 series, as good luck 3000 series is VAPOR ware unless your a miner, or your in the magical population that got one from some shady transaction of waiting in a long line, using bots, or somehow getting lucky in a lottery.

If this doesn't change soon then my instinct was correct even though I hate consoles. I'm currently stuck with a 4GB R9Fury and he has a 1060 6GB.

Haha, they would have been hard but not impossible to find. And I know you suffered a bit during your builds.

That said, its hard to know when the old "MSRP" prices will come back. Crypto collapse seems to have sorta happened in slow-mo. I just enter every Shuffle - having "won" once the opportunity to buy an overpriced 6900XT - for the cheapest card option they have hoping to secure one for friends and family at cost.

At least you don't have the worst cards to be stuck on. Lots of people stuck on way worse. :/

I am waiting for a "deal" so I can update a neighbors kids PC (same age as my guy, so they've been playing some SC2 coop and stuff) and I got a K620 on the FS/FT that's good for 25-35 fps... options just are not great.

Even the normal MSRP prices are a stretch for my budget but I want something that will last a long time. I've never timed my builds to where I had a new CPU and new GPU at the same time. I finally got an i7 after owning 3 straight quad cores but no new GPU. It's just frustrating and I know I'm not alone.

Luckily my nephew mostly plays fortnite so he's good to go for now. I've been playing an older game and have a ton more older games so I can get by. Both of us have 1080p monitors which also helps.

I gave up on the shuffle. I can't afford their prices and to be honest I would hate myself for giving in to their extortion.

I'm also lucky that I have a CPU with built in graphics as a back up. Not ideal but it will work in a pinch.

Anyways, I'm just venting to stay sane during these weird times. It's what keep me out of the clock tower.

yeah but you need to do your secret handshake with others in line, and wear all the same color clothing, as well as have a Louis Vutton tent set up to show others you can afford the gpu.

While the price is high it is something we all need to accept for the time being.
I have a 1660ti and it is fine for 1080P.
Disclaimer I am at 1050 and I am able to run everything at very high settings.
