Question Zotac Mini PC

Hello everyone,
I'd like to buy ( not for me ) a Zotac Mini PC ( ZBOX Barebone ) with RTX 3070 / 3060
I'll have to buy the DDR and SSD, it's not included
It will be hooked to a Samsung Q900A - 8k TV
Web browsing and YouTube. No gaming, no video editing, etc
My question is : is it loud under medium / low GPU - CPU usage ?
Could anyone help me, please ??

Looking at the guts photo it looks like it's using a laptop fan to cool everything and laptop CPU. It should be pretty quiet. Those fans max at 5k RPM as I have two in my laptop that max out under gaming load but aren't all that loud.

I wouldn't go for the 3070 if it's just for browsing and YouTube. I'm using a 3060 in my laptop and it's sufficient for everything. Unless you go into graphics settings and override the GPU per app it will be using the igpu most of the time anyway.

If you had the option of just the igpu it would be enough. No gaming means it's overkill. However if they're going to need to transcode video it will help considerably.

A 3060 is serious overkill for HTPC duties - particularly if you're just browsing Youtube.
The integrated video in the CPU ought to be good enough - up to and including 4K resolutions.

For 8K, not sure if even dedicated videocards can help...

I can confirm as I upgraded the panel on my laptop to 4k120 and igpu has no issues and the 3060 is only being used for games or anything specified.

In the past though chrome benefited from using the dgpu over the igpu but, that was a 9750h and the current laptop is a 12700h which uses iris and not the old UHD setup

Any card with a true hdmi 2.1 port will support the 8k tv, at least for normal stuff (ie. not games). Whether it is worth it over just displaying 4k, is another story.
