Anyone have this card and are there any negitives to this card?

Well the 570 does win very well in one area, power usage.

But yea good deal if you have a good power supply to handle the extra load.

What speeds are you running?

I run my GTX460 at 560 speeds so for me its not worth the upgrade price since it also uses more power. It is a good deal faster but I am going to wait for the 7850's to come down more or the next Gen.

It will be a pretty good jump if your power supply is up to it and you don't want to wait for current cards to drop.

After reading yuor post did some more research on this exact model and rebate as I want it at 139.00 . It seems Zotac was bad at rebates in the past but have now lately switched to a known good third party (see link below) for rebates. So now that takes care of that concern for me on the rebate a little.

But as far as any problems I haven't see any in my research other than some say it is loud (which is a concern for me) under load and of course this chip is power hungry per 570 which I did know from past research and isn't a problem for me. I didn't research OCing this card as I don't OC video cards.

So the only thing that concerns me now so far is the noise but I want a 320 bit MI card like I mentioned earlier for video editing. I am planning on picking it Monday if I don't change my mind over the noise or maybe try it out if its too loud (vs my Sonic GTX 460) for me then I will just return it.

Its uses a thin fin heatsink with heatpipes so the PCB can be smaller.


Also the 470 did have some heat and power issues. But the 570 for the most part were taken care of. It still uses a bit of power but was more controlled in the respined 570.

The OC under full load isn't 100% stable. This can be fixed by OC'ing it yourself via MSI afterburner.

Source: Me and a friend had this problem and fixed it.

I recently bought a Zotac card that had 2 rebates. They denied the rebates saying that they must be mailed in separate envelopes. The Exact same address (no rebate number differences required on the envelope) and nowhere did it say they had to be sent in 2 envelopes. They denied Both rebates. The card is fine but I will never buy their products again.

570 is a good card i have a PNY, but Zotac is bottom tier.

After a couple months of hounding Zotac about a gt520 rebate, they finally processed it. There is no confirmation that they received the rebate submission, or approval/denial. CSR's give no helpful information, just "I'll look into it", or ask you to provide some simple information that they already have just to delay you for another week. Thank god i didn't have to deal with an RMA with the customer service they have.
